This Privacy Policy describes how Dolgun VPN ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "App"). This policy applies to both platforms equally.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our guiding principle is simple: we collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the VPN service, and we do not log your browsing activity.
By downloading, installing, or using the App you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we collect the following limited information:
- Device identifier — a randomly generated unique ID created and stored locally on your device. It is used solely to assign VPN server credentials. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
- Connection timestamps — approximate time of connection and disconnection, used exclusively for server load balancing and abuse prevention. These are not associated with your browsing activity.
- App version and platform (e.g. "iOS 1.0.0" or "Android 1.0.0") — used to ensure compatibility and deliver updates.
This data is collected automatically when you connect to the VPN service. No additional data is collected.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, log, or monitor:
- Your browsing history, visited URLs, or the content of your internet traffic
- DNS queries
- Your originating IP address associated with your VPN activity
- Bandwidth usage or session duration per user
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials
- Location data
- Any information about other apps installed on your device
We operate a strict no-logs policy: we do not monitor, record, or store any information about the websites you visit or the data you transmit through the VPN tunnel.
3. How We Use Information
The limited data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Provide and maintain the VPN service
- Assign VPN server credentials to your device
- Balance load across VPN servers
- Prevent abuse of the service
We do not use the collected data for any other purpose, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, or building user profiles.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, use, or disclose to third parties any data collected through the App for any purpose. We commit to this obligation in this Privacy Policy. This commitment applies to all data described herein, without exception.
The App does not contain any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or any other third-party code that collects user data. We do not use third-party services to process user data. No user data is shared with any third party under any circumstances.
In the event of a valid legal request (e.g., a court order), we may be compelled to respond. However, given our no-logs policy and minimal data collection, we have virtually no user data available to provide.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously and employ multiple layers of protection:
- Encryption in transit — all communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS with TLS certificate pinning.
- VPN tunnel encryption — VPN traffic is encrypted using the AmneziaWG protocol with additional traffic obfuscation, making your connection resistant to deep packet inspection (DPI).
- Infrastructure security — we apply industry-standard security practices to protect our server infrastructure.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data for the minimum period necessary:
- Connection timestamps are retained for no longer than 24 hours and are then automatically and permanently deleted.
- Device identifiers are stored on your device and on our server for the sole purpose of credential assignment. Server-side records are deleted when the associated VPN credential expires or upon your request.
To request deletion of your data, visit our data deletion page or send an email to admin@lenavpn.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days. You may also uninstall the App, which removes the locally stored device identifier from your device.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@lenavpn.com and we will take immediate steps to remove such data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Right to access — request information about what data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion — request that we delete any data associated with your device identifier.
- Right to withdraw consent — stop using the App at any time; uninstalling removes locally stored data.
- Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
Since we collect minimal non-personal data and operate a no-logs policy, there is typically very little data to access or delete. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@lenavpn.com.
9. International Data Transfers
Our VPN servers are located in various countries. When you connect to a VPN server, your encrypted traffic is routed through that server. As described above, we do not log your traffic or associate your browsing activity with your identity. The limited data we collect (device ID, timestamps) may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.
10. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), our legal basis for collecting and using the limited data described in this Privacy Policy is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in operating and securing the VPN service — specifically, assigning server credentials, balancing server load, and preventing abuse. Given the minimal and non-personal nature of the data we collect, we have determined that our legitimate interest does not override your rights and freedoms.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise this right, please contact us at admin@lenavpn.com.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g. through an in-app notification). Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
